ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT, Greenwood Care, Evanston, IL
Greenwood Care, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility (SMHRF) in Evanston, IL, has an immediate opening for an Administrative Assistant.
This is a Full-Time Position, Paying an Hourly Rate of between $22 - $24 per hour, Depending Upon Experience, + Full Benefits, including your choice of Healthcare Plan, 401k, PTO, plus Opportunity for Advancement.

Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant:
- Support the facility’s philosophy of care and strive to achieve its goals and objectives
- Process payroll, including time sheets, checks, reports, direct deposits as well as other required documents required for payroll
- Trust fund administration
- Process all new employees’ applications, registration and documentation; conduct background checks
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of any changes in JCAHO, Federal and State regulations, modify department policies to assure compliance
- Supervise receptionists
- Order supplies
- Maintain confidentiality of resident information

Requirements
of the Administrative Assistant:
- Accounts Payable and Payroll experience
- Office management experience
- Business experience in a Long-Term Care facility preferred
- Multi-line phone system experience
- Strong relationship building skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must have compassion and understanding of adults with psychiatric disabilities
