- 7+ years designing B2B/enterprise product experiences
- Strong portfolio of complex product and data-heavy UX work
- Experience conducting qualitative research and usability testing
- Proficiency with interaction design, information architecture, and data visualization
- High proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma)
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in a fully remote organization
- Experience balancing product, business, customer, and technical tradeoffs
Responsibilities
- Design unified billing, usage, and cost-forecasting experiences across Grafana Cloud products
- Translate quantitative and qualitative research into clear, data-driven UI/UX solutions
- Craft visuals, communication, and information hierarchy that make bills and usage transparent
- Tailor flows and dashboards for multiple user personas and roles
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product management, research, technical writing, and GTM teams
- Prioritize features for measurable customer and business impact while balancing technical constraints
- Document user needs, design decisions, tradeoffs, and detailed specifications
- Run and contribute to research initiatives and usability studies
- Coach and mentor other designers and contribute to team processes and growth
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or related field OR equivalent professional experience
- Maintained portfolio demonstrating complex, end-to-end product designs
- Continuing education or coursework in UX, data visualization, or user research preferred
