Glossier is a consumer-first beauty brand known for iconic products and community-driven experiences. The gTEAM Editor is a customer experience specialist who handles Tier 1 and Tier 2 inquiries across email, chat, and social channels, resolves complex or sensitive issues, and contributes to projects that improve the overall customer experience while representing Glossier’s voice and values.

Skills

  • Exceptional written communication and tone control (grammar, punctuation, voice).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional, patient customer communication.
  • Experience across multiple communication channels (email, chat, social).
  • Problem-solving and solution-oriented mindset for complex or sensitive issues.
  • Proficiency with computers and the ability to learn internal tools and platforms quickly.
  • High attention to detail and ability to escalate or collaborate as needed.
  • Comfort reviewing and responding to sensitive content.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries across email, chat, and social channels with accurate, timely, and brand-appropriate messaging.
  • Handle Tier 1 and Tier 2 issues that are elevated in complexity or sensitivity and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Serve as a product expert and represent Glossier’s voice, values, and quality standards in all interactions.
  • Master internal systems and tools to resolve issues efficiently and document actions clearly.
  • Review and respond to sensitive comments and collaborate with internal partners to craft appropriate responses.
  • Support and own projects that improve the customer experience; collaborate cross-functionally with Tech, Logistics, and Communications.
  • Work assigned schedule (Tuesday–Saturday within 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM PST) and provide coverage on weekends and holidays as required.

Education

  • Successful completion of at least one cycle of the Retail Digital Editor program (in good standing).
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
