Corporate Sales Director

Glean is an AI-powered knowledge management platform helping teams find, organize, and share information across tools like Google Drive, Slack, and Microsoft Teams. We're seeking an energetic, data-driven sales leader to build and scale a San Francisco-based Account Executive team, owning recruiting, coaching, KPI management, and go-to-market execution to drive net-new logo acquisition.

Skills

  • Proven quota-carrying sales leadership with experience building and scaling AE teams
  • Strong closing background with 4+ years as an individual contributor
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and sales enablement tools (e.g., Outreach, Sales Navigator)
  • Data-driven decision making and KPI management
  • Excellent coaching, hiring, and team development skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead a team of Account Executives through the full sales cycle to close net-new logos
  • Recruit, onboard, coach, and mentor AEs using shadowing, role plays, and structured 1:1s
  • Design and deliver repeatable training on sales skills, product knowledge, and industry context
  • Define, track, and optimize KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics for the AE team
  • Collaborate with GTM leadership and Marketing to refine MQLs, campaigns, and strategic growth plans
  • Implement company-standard sales methodologies and scalable sales systems/processes
  • Foster a culture rooted in respect, transparency, diversity, and inclusion
  • Continuously evaluate results and make data-driven recommendations to accelerate growth

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Sales training or certifications are a plus
