We are seeking an Administrative Specialist to join our team supporting the DOE's Y-12 National Security Complex! This position is full-time and will be based out of Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
Responsibilities
Performs operational duties in support of regulatory, security, and industry practices and compliance documentation.
Respond to specific requests by searching, locating, retrieving, and delivering records or information through established procedures and delivery systems in a timely manner.
Verify completeness/thoroughness of the records in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Perform assigned tasks supporting the implementation of the organization's approved retention schedule.
Comply with records security classification policy and procedures.
Protect records by monitoring environmental controls and flowing established procedures to control access.
Communicate and interact with customers to provide effective customer service.
Prepare documents for imaging.
Operate imaging and microfilm equipment to create quality-level document images and store electronic images in approved electronic information systems.
Additional site and job specific training may be required.
Requirements
Education & Years of Experience – High School Diploma and 4+ years of relevant experience.
Citizenship – To be considered, you must be a United States (U.S.) citizen due to the federal nature of the work.
Clearance – To be considered, you must have an active or very recently active DOE “Q” Clearance or DoD “Top Secret” Clearance.
Experience with operating imaging and microfilm equipment to create quality-level document images and store electronic images

The NNSA's Y-12 National Security Complex, in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, is the nation’s only source of enriched uranium nuclear weapon components and provides enriched uranium for the U.S. Navy as well as excels in materials science, precision manufacturing, and stores enriched uranium.
