Strategic Accounts Director, Provider Accounts

Garner is a fast-growing healthcare technology company transforming how doctor performance is evaluated and incentivized to reduce costs and improve quality. We are looking for a Strategic Accounts Director to own relationships with major provider clients, translate client goals into commercial outcomes, and drive retention and expansion across our Provider line of business.

Skills

  • 7+ years in account management, sales, or strategic planning in healthcare
  • Proven success managing enterprise or large provider accounts and driving retention/upsell
  • Strong strategic account planning and project management skills
  • Excellent executive communication and client-facing presentation skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with product, data, and engineering teams
  • Comfortable with up to 25% travel to support client needs
  • Experience in dynamic startup environments and ability to be hands-on

Responsibilities

  • Own retention and upsell activities for a book of Garner’s largest provider clients
  • Drive improved net revenue retention (NRR) and other client KPIs
  • Serve as primary point of contact and trusted advisor for client executives
  • Consult with clients to resolve strategic problems and demonstrate Garner’s value
  • Monitor client health and execute strategic plans to mitigate account risk
  • Manage onboarding projects and regular client touchpoints
  • Collaborate with product, data, and technology teams to deliver customized reports and presentations
  • Develop and execute account plans that align client objectives with Garner capabilities

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MHA) preferred but not required
