Director of Sales, Emerging Markets and Verticals

Fundraise Up builds a high-performance fundraising platform used by leading nonprofits worldwide to increase conversion and donation velocity. They are hiring a Director of Sales to own go-to-market strategy, launch and scale new geographic markets and verticals, and lead cross-functional pods to drive revenue growth—initially focused on the UK/EU and the U.S. education vertical.

Skills

  • Consultative and solution selling expertise
  • Proven SaaS/platform and enterprise sales experience
  • Demonstrated ability to build and scale sales teams and processes
  • Strong forecasting and pipeline management skills (Salesforce proficiency preferred)
  • Experience launching and scaling in UK/EU markets
  • Ability to operate in ambiguous, high-growth environments
  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management
  • Strategic thinking with strong execution orientation
  • Familiarity with product-led growth or hybrid sales models

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for emerging markets and priority verticals (initial focus: UK/EU and U.S. education)
  • Set revenue targets, KPIs and success metrics; own quota attainment for assigned segments
  • Build, lead and mentor cross-functional pods (AEs, SEs, PMs, CS, Partnerships, Marketing)
  • Design territory and account assignment structures to optimize coverage
  • Drive new customer acquisition and expansion; manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and a healthy sales pipeline
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing and Customer Success to influence roadmap and go-to-market materials
  • Identify additional high-potential markets and verticals aligned with company growth goals

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Equivalent professional experience considered
