Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end pricing solutions and execute procurement cycles for air freight imports and exports.
- Procure and record rates with vendors ensuring accuracy in internal databases.
- Resolve pricing escalations and act as first point of contact for air pricing issues.
- Support strategic pricing projects like bids, market mappings, and marketplace implementations.
- Monitor pricing requests and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
- Lead initiatives for process improvement, automation, and SOP enhancements.
- Develop deep market expertise and represent the regional trade lane manager in pricing decisions.
- Engage and negotiate skillfully with carriers and vendors to secure best-in-class rates.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent relevant experience.
