Sr. Business Analyst

The Senior Business Analyst acts as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. You will gather, analyze, and document requirements; design solutions in collaboration with engineering; and ensure the delivery of high-quality products that align with strategic goals. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, technical fluency, and the ability to communicate

This role reports to the Executive Director, Technical Strategy and Operation and is located in Chicago, IL offering a hybrid work environment with a minimum of 3 days required in the office every week and additional days as business needs arise.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand objectives, processes, and challenges.
• Translate business requirements into clear, detailed, and actionable technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, QA, and data teams to design solutions that meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Create process flows, wireframes, data flow diagrams, and system interface documentation.
• Conduct data analysis (SQL or BI tools) to validate requirements, troubleshoot issues, and inform decisions.
• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) planning, execution, and defect tracking.
• Manage requirement changes through proper change control processes.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on the systems and tools within your scope.
• Facilitate workshops, demos, and technical discussions.
• Support and maintain existing products, dashboards, and reports, ensuring accuracy, proper usage, and relevance.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to gather detailed business and technical requirements, and create precise, structured data mapping documentation that ensures accurate integration between client systems and internal platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical BA, Systems Analyst, or similar role.
• Write expert level SQL queries to transform complex, disparate datasets into scalable products for analytics
• Experience with API documentation, system integrations, or data pipelines.
• Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart, or similar.
• Have a structured and analytical approach to problem solving and independently own solutioning for highly ambiguous business needs
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Experience building actionable visualizations in Tableau.

• Experience in SaaS, B2B, and Product Analytics teams preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and backlog refinement.
• Understanding of data modeling and ETL concepts.

Compensation offered at Everspring will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Position Location: Illinois

The base salary hiring range for this position is: $105,000 to $120.000.
