But today’s data platforms (like Databricks and Snowflake) are built on top of tools made for spreadsheet-like analytics, not the petabytes of multimodal data that power AI. As a result, teams waste months on brittle infrastructure instead of conducting research and building their core product.
Eventual was founded in 2022 to solve this. Our mission is to make querying any kind of data, images, video, audio, text, as intuitive as working with tables, and powerful enough to scale to production workloads. Our open-source engine, Daft, is purpose-built for real-world AI systems: coordinating with external APIs, managing GPU clusters, and handling failures that traditional engines can’t. Daft already powers critical workloads at companies like Amazon, Mobileye, Together AI, and CloudKitchens.
We’ve assembled a world-class team from Databricks, AWS, Nvidia, Pinecone, GitHub Copilot, Tesla, and more, quadrupling our size within a year. With Series A and seed funding from Felicis, CRV, Microsoft M12, Citi, Essence, Y Combinator, Caffeinated Capital, Array.vc, and top angels from the co-founders of Databricks and Perplexity, we’re looking to double the team now. We are hiring an early-career marketer to own day-to-day execution across social media, events, and marketing operations. This is a hands-on role for someone who is curious, organized, and excited to build marketing from the ground up at a fast-growing Series A startup.
You will work directly with leadership across marketing, operations, and engineering to bring Eventual’s story to life and help shape how developers, researchers, and enterprises discover Daft and the future of AI data infrastructure.
You’ll support and execute marketing programs across social, events, and operations. On a typical week, you might schedule posts on LinkedIn and X, turn a recent talk into short social clips, help coordinate a developer meetup, and launch a simple landing page or HubSpot email campaign.
Your work will keep our marketing engine running smoothly and visibly:
Social and Distribution: Keep Eventual’s channels active with consistent posting and content repurposing.
Events and Community: Support event logistics and ensure each program is well-organized and well-promoted.
Marketing Operations: Maintain clean systems in HubSpot and our CMS, from campaign setup to publishing blog posts.
1–3 years of hands-on marketing experience (startup or B2B SaaS preferred)
Curiosity, initiative, and a learning mindset
Strong organization and follow-through
Comfort with hands-on execution rather than just ideas
Interest in exploring AI tools to improve marketing efficiency
Experience creating social or short-form video content
Familiarity with Figma or other design tools
Interest in analytics, growth marketing, or performance metrics
