Eurofins Agroscience Services is searching for a Facilities Operations Lead to join our world class, industry-leading facility located in Columbia, MO. 

Facilities Operations Lead responsibilities include:

• Plan, organize and direct the functions necessary for maintaining facilities and equipment in an operational and functional condition
• Responsible for the day-to-day operation of facility support services including scheduling of emergency, routine and preventative maintenance and ensuring the cleanliness of the laboratory, research areas and facilities.
• Establish and maintain a preventative maintenance program for facilities and equipment
• Communicate effectively and regularly with staff regarding timelines, project completion, and any issues that may arise and influence staff decisions
• Evaluate and approve any subcontracting and/or vendors
• Develop and maintain documented inventories of equipment and supplies, ensuring all equipment/supplies are available and in good working order
• Other duties as required for the effective and efficient operation of the company in general.

The ideal candidate would possess:

• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or GED and five (5) years applicable experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel is required.  Knowledge of Word and PowerPoint is highly desirable
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm, with overtime as needed.  Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Columbia, MO are encouraged to apply.
