SUMMARY:
The Senior Associate Director, reporting to the Program Director, supports leadership and management of the Conflict Resolution Program and serves as Deputy/Acting Director as needed. The role leads planning, implementation, and evaluation of program initiatives, with primary responsibility for CRP’s U.S. work and expansion.
Key duties include supervising staff and contractors; overseeing project development, grant proposals, budgets, and reporting; and engaging in policy formulation, risk management, and program promotion. The SAD represents CRP with internal and external partners, develops strategies responsive to U.S. conflict dynamics, and fosters collaborations with government, private, and international stakeholders. Additional responsibilities may include fundraising, publishing research, and managing financial operations. Due to travel locations, Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT) may be required.
