First Book is seeking a Temporary Global Department Administrative Assistant to support administrative operations within the Global Programs team. This role plays a key part in scheduling, communication, and coordination across various stakeholders, contributing to educational equity worldwide.
Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive administrative support, manage calendars, coordinate meetings across global time zones, draft communications, maintain digital filing systems, coordinate travel, and assist with project documentation and reporting for global initiatives.
Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with travel coordination, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Qualifications: 2-3 years of administrative support or office coordination experience, preferably in a nonprofit or global setting, with a commitment to educational equity and global access.

Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation ranges for this position are between $20 - $30 per hour.

The Temporary Global Department Administrative Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the administrative operations of the Global Programs team at First Book. This role provides comprehensive administration, coordination, and scheduling support to ensure the effective and efficient functioning of the department. The position will report to the Vice President of Global Programs and assist in maintaining communication, documentation, and workflow across teams and international partners.
This is a temporary role ideal for someone organized, proactive, and passionate about supporting global educational equity.
