Position Summary:

 

We are looking for an energetic and highly organized Office Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our new Los Angeles office. As the face of e.l.f. Beauty on-site, you’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming, efficient, and well-functioning work environment. From greeting external guests and visitors to managing vendors, facilities, and events, this role requires someone proactive, hands-on, and detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and passion for the brand.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and employees; provide coverage for the front desk as needed
  • Oversee cleanliness, maintenance, and organization of all shared office spaces, including kitchens, conference rooms, and restrooms
  • Manage office supply inventory, food/beverage orders, and weekly catering for office lunches
  • Maintain and organize the e.l.f. product closet, including inventory tracking and replenishment from warehouse
  • Handle all incoming and outgoing mail and package logistics, including FedEx and courier services
  • Plan and execute internal events including happy hours, celebrations, and company-wide meetings
  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of external visitor experiences, including influencers, clients, and VIP guests, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for influencers visiting onsite, providing personalized support and hospitality from arrival to departure.
  • Maintain detailed itineraries and logistics for internal and external events, including meeting coordination, space preparation, catering, transportation, vendor relations, and branded experience elements.
  • Anticipate and resolve any onsite needs or issues promptly, delivering a high-quality and memorable guest experience.
  • Act as the liaison with building management, HVAC, IT, cleaning teams, and other vendors
  • Troubleshoot office equipment and tech issues (WiFi, A/V, printers, etc.) to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Partner with the Oakland office team to align on company-wide policies and practices
  • Manage office budgets, purchase orders, and invoice tracking in collaboration with accounting
  • Ensure fire safety compliance; serve as Fire Warden
  • Lead ad hoc office projects and serve as a trusted, go-to resource for the LA team


Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in office management or facilities operations, preferably in a fast-paced environment (100+ employees)
  • Familiarity with managing influencer or high-profile guest visits in a corporate or branded environment is preferred.
  • Event planning experience is a plus
  • Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Warm, professional, and approachable demeanor with a solution-oriented mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; comfortable using digital tools and internal systems
  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs


$20 - $25 an hour
