Head of Market Access & Patient Services

Dyne Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biotech focused on developing therapies for genetically driven neuromuscular diseases. The Head of Market Access & Patient Services will lead launch readiness and commercialization activities for Dyne’s lead programs, establishing market access, payer engagement, pricing, reimbursement, distribution, and patient support capabilities to ensure broad and timely product access.

Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of US payer landscape, managed care, and government payers
  • Proven experience in pricing, reimbursement strategy and contracting
  • Track record of launching and commercializing biotech/rare disease products
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Analytical skills to translate clinical and HEOR data into access and pricing strategies
  • Ability to build and scale teams in a fast-growing biotech environment
  • Working knowledge of compliance and healthcare policy relevant to market access

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a fit-for-purpose US market access and patient services organization to enable timely patient access
  • Recruit, build, and develop a high-performing market access and patient services team
  • Develop and execute comprehensive market access strategies including pricing, reimbursement, payer engagement, and contracting
  • Collaborate with Medical Affairs, HEOR/Value & Access, R&D, Sales, Marketing, Legal, and Finance to align access strategy with clinical and commercial objectives
  • Oversee patient affordability and support programs to ensure patient access and adherence
  • Lead payer account management, government account strategy, and managed care engagement
  • Drive trade & distribution strategy to support commercialization and supply channel readiness
  • Manage departmental budget, resource allocation, and operational KPIs
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, US healthcare laws, and relevant regulations

Education

  • BA/BS degree required
  • Advanced degree (MBA, PharmD, PhD) preferred
