- Proven leadership and team management in corporate physical security
- Hands-on experience across the Americas region
- Strong investigative, incident response and threat monitoring skills
- Experience with event security planning and executive protection coordination
- Contract and vendor management experience
- Excellent written and oral communication and executive-level presentation skills
- Ability to operate under pressure and make timely, high-integrity decisions
Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a regional team of physical security professionals across the Americas
- Develop and maintain relationships with Workplace Ops, HR/ER, Legal, executive leadership, and regional/site leaders
- Coordinate and lead in-region investigations and physical security incident response
- Partner with Protective Intelligence to proactively protect facilities and personnel
- Plan, direct, and execute event security for small-to-medium on-campus events and support large public events
- Manage regional security contracts, vendors, scheduling, KPIs and quarterly business reviews
- Execute security operations consistent with global standards and enforce them when necessary
- Provide data-driven leadership and prioritize initiatives to improve security posture
Education
- Equivalent experience in security or related fields accepted in lieu of degree
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, security management, emergency management, or related field
- Preferred: ASIS CPP or PSP, or ATAP CTM certification (or actively pursuing)
