Summary
The Manager, Global Original TV Strategy role will provide lead operations support as well as help manage various special projects for the President, Disney TV Studios & Global Original TV Strategy.
Primary Responsibilities
Research global strategies to help advance original content development.
Proactively manage schedules and project timelines in a way that aligns with the priorities of the President’s office.
Lead the process of meeting prep for the President by gathering relevant materials, planning logistics, and preparing pre meeting communications.
Act as a creative and strategic thinker to help the President manage business and creative priorities.
Manage the planning, coordination, of domestic and international business travel, including trip logistics and itinerary, meeting coordination, including staff meetings and on-sites.
Represent the President by interfacing effectively and professionally with high level executives, clients, employees and business associates both internal and external.
Keep up to date with the President on all materials and business to be able to be able to prioritize and manage activities as needed.
Research and analyze cultural trends and continually look for new trends across the media landscape.
Lead the process for creating and editing decks (i.e., PowerPoint and Keynote presentations) for meetings and summary action plans at a high level
Support special projects and programs, as needed.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of experience as a high-level assistant, coordinator or associate for a senior level executive office providing operational and/or business support experience.
Strong industry relationships, understanding who’s who of the creative world and television production.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Eagerness to learn, flexibility and adaptability to keep up with the pace and unpredictability of needs.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proven experience in multi-tasking and working with multiple people and priorities, while proactively delivering on high-quality results and follow through.
Demonstrates curiosity, business acumen and a desire to understand the ‘big picture’.
Demonstrates flexibility and professionalism in an environment where change is constant.
Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner.
Self-starter, with ability to work with limited supervision, exercise good judgement, anticipate issues and proactively problem-solve.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in using PCs and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote and Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior project management and business operations experience.
Prior entertainment/media experience.
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Preferred Education:
MBA preferred
