UI/UX Designer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Mid-Level UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design, a passion for creating intuitive and engaging digital experiences, and the ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team. The Mid-Level UI/UX Designer will play a crucial role in designing and refining user-centric interfaces that enhance customer satisfaction and ensure the quality and consistency of our digital products.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct user research and analyze user feedback to inform design decisions.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into compelling user experiences.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications.
• Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across products.
• Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on test feedback.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX design trends, techniques, and technologies.
• Present design concepts and rationale to team members and stakeholders, articulating the thought process and design decisions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of design practices and workflows within the team.
• Balance aesthetics with functionality, prioritizing the needs and preferences of users.
• Other duties as assigned. 

Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience):

• US citizen with an active Secret clearance or ability to obtain.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5 years of professional experience in UI/UX design.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UX/UI design projects.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience in prototyping tools such as InVision, Marvel, or Axure.
• Understanding of responsive design and web/mobile design standards.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Expertise Levels:

• User Research: Intermediate
• Familiarity with user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and basic analytics.
• Wireframing & Prototyping: Intermediate to Advanced
• Comfortable creating detailed wireframes and interactive prototypes using preferred tools.
• Visual Design: Intermediate
• Ability to produce visually appealing designs aligned with brand guidelines.

• Sound understanding of creating seamless and engaging interactions.

• Experience developing and maintaining design systems for consistency across applications.
