As the Head of Solutions Architecture & Field Technology, you’ll lead a high-performing team of Solutions Architects—driving technical excellence, innovation, and consistency across every customer engagement. You’ll serve as both a strategic leader and a field-facing evangelist, aligning technical vision with business strategy to deliver measurable impact for our customers and partners.

Lead, mentor, and grow a best-in-class Solutions Architecture team that embodies Defy’s customer-first mindset.
Define and execute the technical strategy that drives customer value, scalability, and growth.
Establish clear frameworks, methodologies, and KPIs that elevate consistency, enablement, and performance across the Solutions Architecture function.
Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Services, and Marketing to ensure alignment between technical strategy and business goals.
Act as a trusted advisor in key customer and partner relationships, providing senior-level architectural insight and executive engagement.
Represent Defy as a thought leader through industry events, partner summits, and technical community participation.
Champion innovation, enabling your team to stay ahead of emerging technologies in cybersecurity, cloud, and enterprise IT.
10+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Systems Engineering, or related technical roles.
5+ years of proven leadership managing pre-sales or architecture teams with measurable business impact.
Broad technical expertise across cybersecurity, cloud, identity, and enterprise architectures.
Strong executive presence with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes.
Demonstrated experience acting in a Field CTO or customer advisory capacity.
Recognized thought leadership through speaking engagements, whitepapers, webinars, or technical communities.
Advanced certifications (e.g., AWS/Azure/GCP Architect, CISSP, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Competitive compensation: $185,000–$210,000 USD and bonus, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role, plus eligibility for an annual performance-based bonus.
