- Tax research skills and ability to interpret complex tax regulations.
- Project management and process optimization capabilities.
- Experience managing cross-border tax operations and external advisors.
- Proficiency with tax automation and compliance systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead global corporate income tax compliance and reporting in collaboration with advisors.
- Manage quarterly and annual tax provisions under U.S. GAAP (ASC 740), including detailed financial review and footnote preparation.
- Oversee global transfer pricing policies and calculation accuracy.
- Manage indirect tax compliance (VAT, GST, sales/use tax) across multiple jurisdictions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure correct indirect tax treatment on transactions.
- Implement best practices, global process standards, and SOX-compliant controls.
- Partner with Finance IT for automation and system enhancements (e.g., Avalara).
- Develop KPIs and dashboards to monitor tax compliance and tax provision statuses globally.
- Stay abreast of global legislative changes to maintain compliance.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
- CPA certification preferred.
