Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of management experience in education, 2+ years of coaching and professional learning experience, plus evidence of effective leadership and collaboration.

Compensation: $110500 - $196500 / Annually

Director of Professional Learning – Southern California
The Director of Professional Learning manages a sub-region of Senior Managers, Managers, Associate Managers, and the full/part-time field team in supporting implementations and adoptions of all programs across each component of the Professional Learning journey.
The Director of PL participates in the National PL Leadership Team and supports company vision, strategic plan, goals, business demand and ongoing growth in alignment with national practices. The Director holds responsibilities for their sub-region to successfully drive impact on student achievement and the overall success of Curriculum Associates. Building and empowering strong management teams, strengthening cross departmental collaboration, and ensuring the fidelity of great service are priority areas of focus for the Director.

Salary Range for this role: $110,500 - $196,500.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that Curriculum Associates considers in making compensation decisions based on our Compensation Philosophy. Actual base pay within that range will vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, prior experience and relevant skill sets. At Curriculum Associates, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances for each case.

Ability to keep all travel points for flights and hotels booked for work-related travel. Mileage reimbursement may be available for applicable travel.
Travel: Travel is required and considered an essential function of the job. Throughout the year, the percentage of travel varies in correlation to business need. Travel regularly averages between 40-60% per week but can fluctuate as high as 100% during some weeks of the year. Travel includes overnight stays at hotels and transportation via car, plane, and/or public transportation. Out-of-state travel may be required based on business demand. Additionally, a valid driver's license is required for this role.
Location: This position will be required to manage teams primarily in Southern California, cover onsite support to districts and build internal capacity across the region. Candidates must live in or be willing to relocate to the Southern California area.
