Coursera is seeking an Engineering Manager for its Home Team to lead a full-stack engineering team in developing and enhancing the user experience for millions of learners, focusing on retention and engagement.
Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team, drive alignment with business goals, oversee product development initiatives, and ensure operational excellence.
Skills: Proficiency in software engineering principles, strong leadership and mentoring skills, experience with scalable systems, and familiarity with modern frontend and backend technologies.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, 5+ years in software product development, with at least 2 years in engineering management, preferably with experience in generative AI applications.
Location: Location is the US and remote work is an option.
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation ranges for this position are between $140,000 - $210,000.
