Lead Associate

Job Description

  • Base Pay:  $24.00-29.00 per hour

    Shift:  Monday-Friday, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM

    Effectively advocate for health and safety initiatives at the associate level.
  • Support injury prevention initiatives and facilitate First Aid Certification.
  • Maintain safety documentation and monitor the completion of corrective actions following incidents.
  • Assist in conducting incident investigations, including root cause analysis and the development of corrective actions, ensuring follow-up on action item completion.
  • Prepare and create safety training materials and programs and deliver training sessions.
  • Provide guidance to the safety committee.
  • Maintain OSHA 300 logs as instructed by the EHS/HR Manager.
  • Update and manage Safety and Health programs and plans.
  • Conduct safety orientation training for all newly hired employees.
  • Perform monthly safety audits.
  • Execute Quality Audits.
  • Compile monthly data metrics as specified by the EHS/Plant Manager.
  • Must complete a 30-hour OSHA training or OSHA 511 course.
  • Carry out assigned duties. - Conduct High Impact Interviewing.
  • Manage staffing rotations and handle call-ins and call-outs.
  • Address conflict resolution.
  • Oversee scheduling and customer fulfillment.
  • Maintain a flexible shift schedule, with the ability to rotate shifts as necessary

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate
  • Experience in managing OSHA logs
  • Capability to revise and enhance safety programs and procedures
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Proficient in data entry
  • Fundamental computer skills
