Customer Success Manager, SLED

Cloudflare is a global Internet performance and security company powering millions of sites and services. The Customer Success Manager for the US Public Sector (SLED) will own retention and expansion for a portfolio of state, local, and education customers by building strong relationships, enabling technical adoption, driving executive alignment, and advocating customer needs internally.

Skills

  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management
  • Product knowledge and ability to advocate technical value
  • Project management and account portfolio planning
  • CRM proficiency (e.g., Salesforce) and customer success tooling (e.g., Gainsight)
  • Basic computer networking and multi-cloud understanding
  • Executive communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in US Public Sector (SLED) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full customer lifecycle: launch, integrations/enablement, steady-state operations, roadmap alignment, and renewals
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews and align product value to customer goals
  • Develop and execute long-term account plans with Sales to drive retention and expansion
  • Enable customers on engagement models, processes, and resources while managing expectations
  • Maintain long-term relationships with stakeholders across customer organizations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (Sales, Product, Engineering, Support, Marketing) to resolve issues and drive product improvements
  • Capture and advocate customer feedback and feature requests into the product roadmap
  • Travel up to 25% to meet customers and stakeholders

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Master's degree a plus
