The Operations and Planning Team is responsible for designing and implementing processes that support inclusive and effective decision-making at ClimateWorks and help teams to prioritize, collaborate, and achieve their goals. This includes managing the Annual Planning process for teams to agree on priorities and align activities with available funding and our strategic plan; ensuring the success of our hybrid work approach by tending to our ways of working and managing hybrid-related policies; and driving key organization-wide projects and priorities related to Organizational Health, Leadership, strategy implementation, and project management practices. The Planning team partners with teams across the organization, and collaborates especially closely with the Executive Team, Human Resources, Information Systems and Technology, Justice and Equity, and Communications teams.
ClimateWorks seeks a collaborative and experienced Senior Associate to support the Operations and Planning team’s mission to enhance ClimateWorks Operations and ensure that our ways of working reflect our Justice and Equity Commitments. As one of the teams responsible for helping ClimateWorks continue to evolve, we’re seeking an Operations professional to support forward momentum across our portfolio. The Senior Associate will report to the Senior Director for Operations and Planning but support operations for all of ClimateWorks, working in close partnership with colleagues from across the organization, including HR, Finance, Accounting, Justice & Equity, Information Systems and Technology, Marketing and Communications, Philanthropic Partnerships. Key focus areas will include supporting our global footprint, managing ongoing operational processes, implementing new processes, coordinating projects related to organizational risk, and supporting our annual planning cycle.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and have a passion for ensuring equitable and inclusive workplace culture. They will enjoy collaborating across teams and cultures to develop and implement processes and policies that support ClimateWorks’ mission.

Salary Range (Bay Area / NYC): $90,000 - $95,000 annually
Salary Range (Other US): $85,000 - $90,000 annually

ClimateWorks Foundation is based in the San Francisco Financial District. This position is classified as US Flexible. Exceptional candidates can work from the SF office or from other locations, geographic differential applied to compensation based on local cost of labor.
