Responsibilities
- Develop deep knowledge of US and international capital markets and derivative instruments to support valuations
- Serve as a subject matter expert for valuations, modeling, and capital markets questions from clients and internal teams
- Provide first- and second-tier support for incoming queries about models and valuations, including detailed model investigations
- Support daily and monthly valuation processes, including volatility calibrations, manual and third-party valuations, and CVA reporting
- Manage and administer monthly control reports for Credit Valuation Adjustments (CVAs)
- Collaborate with model development teams, product owners, and platform managers to prioritize and automate manual processes
- Lead initiatives to build or improve operational processes and mentor junior teammates
- Ensure credit data quality by understanding and supporting third-party credit spread models
Education
- BA/BS required (engineering, mathematics, finance, computer science, economics preferred)
- Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline preferred but not required
