Senior Manager, Digital, Pratham USA

Position Title: Senior Manager, Digital

Reports to: Head of Marketing & Fundraising

Position: Full-Time, Remote, Exempt. 

Location: Remote, USA (availability in US Eastern Time hours required; occasional travel for events)

Salary Range: $75,000 – $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Work Authorization: Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Pratham is not able to sponsor employment visas at this time.

Pratham’s innovations include the Annual Status of Education Report (ASER), India’s largest citizen-led learning assessment, which has inspired similar efforts in 14 countries.

The Role

The Senior Manager, Digital will play a critical role on the Marketing & Communications team, leading Pratham USA’s digital fundraising, marketing, and engagement strategy. This hands-on role will manage digital platforms, content creation, campaigns, and integrations across CRM and fundraising systems.

The position requires close collaboration with colleagues across Fundraising, Marketing, and Communications, as well as vendors, consultants, and Pratham’s global teams. Success in this role will be measured by funds raised through digital channels and the ability to drive online engagement and donor conversion.

Responsibilities

Digital Strategy & Communications

  • Develop and execute owned, earned, and paid digital strategies to meet fundraising and engagement goals.
  • Partner with agencies to design and implement paid campaigns for awareness and donor growth.
  • Oversee social media channels, email marketing, and website content to ensure brand consistency and engagement.
  • Support donor stewardship and cultivation through compelling digital communications.

Platforms & Operations

  • Manage and optimize Salesforce, Pardot (Account Engagement), Classy (GoFundMe Pro), and WordPress.
  • Ensure seamless data integration across CRM, social, and fundraising systems.
  • Maintain and enhance Pratham USA’s website (WordPress/Elementor) for user experience and conversion.
  • Develop and execute segmented email marketing workflows and automation.
  • Provide digital solutions for peer-to-peer fundraising, influencer/affiliate engagement, and corporate campaigns.

Campaigns & Events

  • Lead digital marketing for major fundraising events and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Development to maximize return on investment for digital initiatives.
  • Support local chapters with digital tools for community fundraising and outreach.

Management & Reporting

  • Produce regular reports on digital channel performance and fundraising outcomes.
  • Manage consultants, agencies, and internal team members as needed.
  • Assist with budget development and oversight for digital activities.
  • Represent Pratham USA in external settings with professionalism and brand alignment.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in campaign management (flexible if candidate demonstrates strong skills/aptitude).
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Pardot, Classy, and WordPress.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing and fundraising strategy for nonprofits or consumer-facing brands.
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems, social media management, SEO/analytics, and digital design direction.
  • Excellent copywriting, communication, and project management skills.
  • Experience in online fundraising, peer-to-peer campaigns, or e-commerce preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment with competing priorities.
  • Salesforce/Pardot certification, experience with Marketing Cloud is a plus.
