Skills
- Strong knowledge of transportation insurance policies including cargo, auto liability, general liability, and workers’ compensation.
- Experience with insurance claims systems or TMS platforms such as RMIS or Origami.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Highly organized with keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end insurance claims across cargo, property, liability, and workers' compensation.
- Serve as primary liaison with carriers, brokers, adjusters, legal counsel, and internal teams.
- Prepare and process Certificates of Insurance for customers, vendors, and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local insurance regulations.
- Coordinate incident reporting with Safety, Operations, and Legal teams.
- Manage the annual insurance renewal process and policy reviews.
- Analyze loss trends and collaborate on risk mitigation strategies.
- Maintain organized claims records and track financial exposure.
- Audit vendor and contractor insurance compliance.
- Assist with litigation support and discovery related to coverage disputes.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business, Insurance or related field preferred but equivalent experience accepted.
