Senior Accountant, SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting
Skills
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and SEC filing requirements (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, etc.)
- Experience with Workiva and/or Netsuite
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to meet tight timelines and handle multiple priorities
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Collaboration skills across departments
Responsibilities
- Prepare and coordinate financial statement data for quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc SEC filings including Form 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, Proxy statements, and Section 16 Filings
- Create and maintain support workbooks for consolidated financial statements and related disclosures
- Prepare detailed tie-out and analyses for SEC filings, press releases, earnings calls, and investor presentations quarterly
- Assist with XBRL tagging and review of SEC filings using Workiva
- Collaborate with internal and external audit teams on information requests
- Manage calendars and deadlines for SEC reporting in coordination with multiple departments
- Conduct research and special projects as needed
- Stay current on accounting standards impacting financial reporting and apply appropriate accounting treatments
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- CPA certification strongly preferred or in progress
