Hospital Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist - Seattle, WA

Azurity Pharmaceuticals is a privately held specialty pharma company focused on patient-centric, underserved therapeutic areas. They are seeking an experienced Hospital Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist to manage a broad Seattle territory, develop strategic account relationships across hospital and clinic settings, communicate complex clinical information, and consistently achieve sales goals.

Skills

  • Proven hospital or specialty pharmaceutical sales experience
  • Strong clinical communication and presentation skills
  • CRM proficiency (Veeva or Salesforce)
  • Territory and account management
  • Data-driven decision making and analytical skills
  • Excellent organization, time management, and follow-through
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to travel frequently, including air travel

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic territory business plan to target hospital and clinic decision makers
  • Call on physicians, nurse practitioners, PAs, nurses, pharmacists, and hospital departments (OR, ICU, hospital pharmacy)
  • Communicate complex clinical messages clearly and confidently in real-time clinical settings
  • Utilize data sources and analytics to prioritize activities and maximize ROI
  • Manage territory activity, accounts, and opportunities in CRM (e.g., Veeva, Salesforce)
  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales and profitability targets
  • Coordinate periodic field travel with internal stakeholders (marketing, management, clinical)
  • Support formulary/P&T activities and hospital account-based selling as needed

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Relevant professional training or certifications preferred
