Hospital Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist - Gulf Coast

Azurity Pharmaceuticals is a privately held specialty pharmaceutical company focused on delivering innovative medications for underserved patient populations. They are seeking a seasoned Hospital Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist to manage a wide Gulf Coast territory, build relationships with hospital clinicians and pharmacy decision-makers, and drive adoption of institutional products through a high-touch mix of in-person and virtual engagement.

Skills

  • Minimum 8 years pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare industry sales experience
  • Proven ability to communicate complex clinical information to healthcare providers
  • Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Veeva, Salesforce)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong virtual engagement and presentation skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated independent territory management and account planning
  • Strong organization, time management, and leadership ability

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic business plan for a wide geographical territory to target and penetrate hospital and institutional accounts
  • Call on physicians, nurses, NPs, PAs, pharmacists and other hospital stakeholders across multiple subspecialties
  • Engage in hospital settings including physician offices, hospital pharmacy, OR, and ICU
  • Deliver clear, clinically accurate messaging in complex real-time clinical situations
  • Manage hybrid relationships with predominantly in-person engagement (70%+) and effective virtual interactions
  • Leverage data sources to prioritize opportunities and maximize ROI
  • Attain or exceed assigned sales and profit goals
  • Document and manage territory activity and account information using a CRM system

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Advanced degree (MS, PharmD, MBA) or additional clinical training preferred
