Hospital Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist - Houston North

Azurity Pharmaceuticals is a privately held specialty pharmaceutical company focused on patient-centric, niche therapeutic areas. They are seeking an experienced Hospital Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist to manage the Houston North territory, build and maintain hospital and institutional relationships, communicate complex clinical messaging, and consistently drive sales growth across hospital pharmacies, ORs, ICUs, and physician offices.

Skills

  • Ability to communicate complex clinical information clearly to HCPs in real-time
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Veeva, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office
  • Strong territory and time management skills
  • Experience with in-person and virtual selling techniques
  • Business acumen and ability to analyze data to inform strategy
  • Leadership and independent account management capabilities

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic territory business plan to target and penetrate hospital and institutional accounts across a wide geographic area
  • Call on physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, and other hospital stakeholders across multiple subspecialties
  • Conduct in-person field work (70%+ expected) and supplement with virtual engagement to manage hybrid relationships
  • Promote products in hospital settings including hospital pharmacy, OR, ICU, and physician offices; support P&T/formulary processes
  • Use data and analytics to prioritize opportunities and maximize ROI for territory activities
  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales and profit targets and maintain documented territory growth
  • Manage territory activities and customer interactions using CRM (e.g., Veeva, Salesforce)

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree (required)
  • Graduate degree or advanced clinical certification (preferred)
