Responsibilities
Contribute to preparation of manuscripts for high-impact journals and conferences, including drafting methods, results, and figures.
Develop pipelines for data preprocessing, integration, and quality assurance.
Maintain high standards of scientific documentation to ensure reproducibility and clarity in both internal reports and external publications.
Build robust model evaluation frameworks and monitor model performance.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists.
Qualifications
BS/MS/PhD degree in computer science, statistics, applied mathematics, computational biology, or a related quantitative discipline.
Excellent scientific writing skills.
Excellent understanding of core machine learning concepts.
Excellent knowledge of the foundations of (bio)statistics, with practical experience applying it to real-world data.
Excellent skills in Python, Jupyter and NumPy.
Proficiency in data visualization and communicating complex results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Prior experience in a “data scientist” or “data analyst” role.
Attention to detail and ability to drive tasks to completion.
Passion for research. Prior publications in academic conferences or journals.
