What You’ll Do:

Deliver advanced mobility automation and develop ML/AI models that enhance network efficiency, reduce operational costs, and power the analytics engine for new service offerings. The position will drive automation and innovation by creating AI rApps and closed-loop controls similar to Dynamic Network Control (DNC), as well as developing GenAI network diagnostics and enabling service assurance of Voice over New Radio (VoNR), Turbo, SA/slicing, etc.

What You’ll Bring:

• This role is critical to supporting seamless network transformation toward AON and Open RAN, enabling new use cases through the EIAP open platform and Network APIs, and meeting the increasing demand for proprietary “secret-sauce” applications that deliver a highly automated and intelligent network which outperform our competitors.
• The ideal candidate possesses expertise in both mobile network technologies and AI/GAI modeling, making this position vital to strengthening AT&T’s leadership in network innovation and automation.
• PhD in an approved field from an approved university with no minimum years of relevant experience or Masters in an approved field from an approved university with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or a Bachelors in an approved field from an approved university with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

Environmental Requirements:

This position may be responsible for contributing to AT&Ts compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions.

Our Lead Member of Technical Staff, earns between 

$153,300.00 - $275,900.00 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
