Skills
- Deep understanding of developer and AI culture and trends
- Proven experience producing and editing video content for YouTube
- Ability to record and edit both short-form and long-form video efficiently
- Technical literacy with APIs and ability to build simple demos or prototypes
- Comfortable and engaging on camera with strong presentation skills
- Strong storytelling instincts and project management abilities
- Familiarity with social platforms: Twitter/X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Reddit
Responsibilities
- Create tutorials, demos, short-form videos, livestreams, and explainers that demonstrate Voice AI use cases
- Serve as the on-camera voice for developer-focused content and walk through real-world applications
- Build lightweight prototypes and demos using AssemblyAI’s APIs to illustrate product capabilities
- Plan and own content end-to-end: concepting, scripting, production, editing, and publishing
- Partner with Product Marketing, Growth, Applied AI, and Customer Experience to convert product updates into social content
- Monitor AI, developer, and social communities to spot trends and pitch timely, high-impact ideas
- Collaborate with external creators and internal stakeholders to deliver cohesive cross-channel storytelling
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field preferred but not required
- Formal education not required if candidate demonstrates strong portfolio and relevant experience
- Continuous self-education on AI and developer tools expected
