(Job TE-1183) Director of Admissions

Ash & Harris Executive Search is looking for a Director of Admissions

Overview:
A leadership role responsible for driving the success of the campus Admissions team by meeting pre-set enrollment goals and performance standards. The Director will recruit, train, and manage the admissions staff, implement local marketing initiatives, and ensure excellent customer service throughout the student enrollment process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, train, manage, supervise, and motivate Admissions Representatives and support staff.
  • Monitor and report on progress toward start goals; review daily and weekly performance metrics.
  • Conduct regular evaluations, including bi-weekly call reviews, monthly interview observations, quarterly professional standards assessments, and annual performance reviews.
  • Provide continuous coaching and feedback to ensure team success and develop future leaders.
  • Ensure full shift coverage for inbound leads and review all recorded calls for accuracy and quality within 72 hours.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Financial Aid, and other campus departments to ensure overall campus success.
  • Plan and conduct campus events such as open houses and orientations.
  • Lead daily standups and weekly team meetings to review goals and best practices.
  • Monitor and respond to public reviews and mystery shops.
  • Ensure adherence to business professional dress code and all admissions policies.

Requirements:
Education

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experiences

  • Minimum of four years of direct enrollment management experience with a proven admissions track record.
  • For-Profit Admissions experience is required (non-profit experience may suffice if combined with previous for-profit sales/admissions experience).
  • Demonstrated proficiency with enrollment management practices and CRM systems (e.g., CampusVue).
  • Proven experience in recruiting, training, and managing a sales/admissions team.

  • Ability to multi-task and communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • High energy, reliable, and presentable as a campus leader.
  • High level of integrity and solid business acumen.
  • Proficient in MS Office.

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary

  • $90,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on years of Admissions Management experience.
