Ash & Harris Executive Search is looking for a Real Estate Paralegal/Legal Assistant
Overview:
Join an established Austin law firm specializing in real estate development and transactions. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience supporting real estate attorneys with zoning, entitlements, and transactional work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of real estate transactions including due diligence, closings, and post-closing matters
- Research and analyze zoning regulations, plats, surveys, and title documents
- Prepare and submit entitlement applications to government agencies
- Create presentations for public hearings using GIS mapping tools
- Maintain closing documents and track critical deadlines
- Handle client billing with 100-115 monthly billable hour requirement
- Serve as primary client contact for development projects
Requirements:
Education:
- Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred
Experiences:
- 5+ years direct experience in Texas real estate transactions
- Demonstrated expertise with entitlements, zoning, and land use processes
- Title/survey review experience required
Other:
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint)
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong understanding of municipal government processes
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary:
- $85,000 - $120,000 (based on experience)
