Ash & Harris Executive Search is looking for a Litigation Legal Assistant
Overview:
Join a respected West Palm Beach law firm as a Litigation Legal Assistant, where you'll provide essential support to attorneys and paralegals in a fast-paced litigation practice. This is an onsite opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic legal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, format, and file court documents (including e-filings)
- Draft legal correspondence, memos, and routine pleadings
- Manage case files, deadlines, and litigation calendars
- Schedule meetings, hearings, and depositions
- Professionally communicate with clients, court staff, and legal teams
- Transcribe dictation and process legal mail
- Track expenses and submit payment requests
Requirements:
Education:
- Associate degree or legal studies coursework preferred
Experiences:
- Minimum 3 years of litigation support experience in a law firm
- Hands-on experience with pleadings, motions, and court filings
Other:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software (iManage, InTapp, or similar)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
- Must be located in/near West Palm Beach, FL
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary:
- $55,000 - $75,000 (based on experience)
