Solutions Engineer, Remote

Aperia is driving innovation in commercial vehicle fleet efficiency and sustainability through its hardware and data analytics solutions. They seek a Solutions Engineer to support the sales process as a trusted technical advisor, collaborating across teams to deliver valuable customer solutions.

Skills

  • Proficiency in SQL and Python programming.

  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities for technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Experience in sales or pre-sales process in hardware or software domains.
  • Ability to lead presentations and demos virtually and in person.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Aperia's products and pilot data to communicate value to customers.
  • Own discovery and qualification of technical compatibility with customer environments.
  • Collaborate with Sales Directors to identify customer business goals and craft tailored solutions.
  • Develop and deliver engaging presentations and product demonstrations to diverse audiences.
  • Analyze pilot data and algorithm behavior to validate use cases and ensure success.
  • Build analytical models using SQL, Python, and Excel to showcase product value.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor offerings to deepen technical knowledge.
  • Represent customer feedback to Product and Engineering teams.
  • Streamline technical sales pilot processes through tools and analyses.
  • Work closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to refine strategies and improve outcomes.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
