- Ability to design experiments and validate algorithms in ambiguous environments
- Familiarity with Linux/Android and Windows development environments
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain localization algorithms and systems for AR/VR headsets
- Own a component of the navigation stack for Project Buck with mentorship
- Design and implement inertial navigation and filtering for SBMC headsets
- Contribute to real-time AR systems including SLAM, VIO, localization, navigation, and simulation
- Participate in end-to-end development, testing, and verification of AR platforms
- Collaborate with a small cross-functional team to deliver robust solutions for harsh environments
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Advanced degree preferred for research-heavy roles
