- Technical accounting and contract analysis experience
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with NetSuite
- Experience supporting audits and communicating with external auditors
- Ability to explain complex accounting matters in clear, non-technical language
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment and managing multiple priorities
- Understanding of SOX controls, IPO readiness, and GAAP compliance
- U.S. Person required due to export-controlled information/facility access
Responsibilities
- Analyze new and modified customer contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment under ASC 606
- Prepare technical accounting memos, revenue checklists, and deal-structuring guidance for cross-functional teams
- Serve as primary point of contact for technical revenue matters with business stakeholders and external auditors
- Oversee and review month-end close activities for revenue accounting and related journal entries
- Calculate and maintain fair value determinations for product and service offerings
- Support revenue determination across domestic and international subsidiaries
- Help design and implement internal controls and policies for SOX compliance and IPO readiness
- Proactively identify and mitigate revenue accounting issues and improve processes and controls
- Participate in special projects and ad-hoc financial analyses in support of finance and company initiatives
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required
- CPA or advanced accounting credential preferred (but not required)
