Skills
- Proficient in C++ with production software experience
- Working experience with Python for tooling, automation, and analysis
- Experience with aerospace/vehicle systems and flight dynamics or equivalent domain (rotorcraft, rockets, satellites, subsea)
- Experience with high-performance and multi-threaded programming
- Strong software integration and coding best practices
Responsibilities
- Design and implement simulation models for vehicles, sensors, communications, movement, tactics, and weapon/electronic effects
- Develop and extend the MS&A framework to support mission-level concept exploration, SITL, Monte Carlo, and DOE analyses
- Create interactive tools for human interaction with simulations and enable scenario configuration and visualization
- Collaborate with autonomy, operations analysis, and capability teams to integrate simulation capabilities into product development
- Work with subject-matter experts to model subsystem, system, and system-of-system dynamics accurately
- Optimize simulation performance through high-performance and multi-threaded programming practices
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related STEM field (or equivalent experience)
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) preferred for more senior / research-focused roles
