Skills
- 5+ years C++ or Rust in Linux development environments
- Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, concurrency, and optimization
- Experience debugging deployed systems and using Linux performance tooling
- Data analysis and visualization skills in Python or Matlab
- Knowledge of robotics areas such as perception, planning, localization, and controls
- Experience programming for embedded/physical devices and constrained systems
- Ability to work cross-functionally with hardware, manufacturing, and systems teams
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize robotics software features for the Anvil platform.
- Own feature development lifecycle from design through customer deployment and maintenance.
- Lead projects and mentor other engineers, providing technical guidance and reviews.
- Collaborate closely with hardware and manufacturing teams to inform and refine hardware designs.
- Integrate Anvil software with other air defense and platform teams within the Lattice ecosystem.
- Troubleshoot and analyze remotely deployed systems and iterate on fielded behavior.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent experience
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) preferred but not required if equivalent industrial experience
