Senior Test Automation Engineer
Skills
- Experience with electrical functional test equipment design and testing.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as C/C++, C#, Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW.
- Knowledge of computer hardware communication bus protocols (USB, I2C, Ethernet, SPI, PCIe, etc.).
- Experience with schematic capture and PCBA layout (Altium Designer preferred).
- Familiarity with lab safety protocols and measurement analysis techniques.
- Experience with source code revision and control (GitHub).
- Active Security Clearance (Secret).
Responsibilities
- Define and execute end-of-line test plans for new products and features.
- Develop and implement test strategies optimizing safety, reliability, and risk mitigation.
- Design and perform hands-on testing and rework of PCBA and electrical system components.
- Analyze data and communicate results to design engineers for resolving product issues.
- Design and implement next-generation test automation hardware systems.
- Manage purchasing, build, integration, and commissioning of functional testers.
- Develop test procedures and automation from component to system level.
- Support board bring-up, bench validation, and design for test (DFT) feedback.
- Lead root cause analysis and participate in design reviews.
- Provide technical mentorship to engineering teams.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
