Skills
- Extensive experience with electrical test equipment design and test automation
- Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout (Altium Designer preferred)
- Programming skills in C/C++/C#, Python, MATLAB, and scripting for automation
- Experience working with hardware communication protocols like USB, Ethernet, SPI, CAN, PCIe
- Knowledge of product development lifecycle, lab safety, and data analysis techniques
- Familiarity with version control systems such as GitHub
- Active Secret Security Clearance
Responsibilities
- Define, own, and execute End of Line test plans for new products in collaboration with design teams
- Develop and implement test strategies covering safety, reliability, and risk mitigation
- Design and execute testing of PCBA and electrical system components with hands-on involvement
- Analyze test data and communicate results clearly, collaborating to resolve product issues
- Design next-generation test automation hardware systems for efficient, repeatable testing
- Manage purchasing, build, integration, and commissioning of functional testers
- Develop test procedures and automation from component to system level
- Support board bring-up, bench validation, and manufacturing test yield
- Assist Design Engineers with Design for Test and feedback from test results
- Lead and participate in design reviews and provide mentorship to engineering teams
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Master’s Degree preferred
