Responsibilities
- Analyze new and modified customer contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment under ASC 606
- Prepare technical accounting memos, revenue checklists, and documentation to support revenue conclusions
- Advise cross-functional teams and executives on contract structuring, deal terms, and revenue forecasting
- Serve as primary technical revenue contact for business stakeholders and external auditors
- Manage month-end close for revenue accounting and related journal entries across domestic and international subsidiaries
- Maintain and calculate fair value determinations for product and service offerings
- Support SOX, IPO readiness, internal controls, and process improvement around revenue accounting
- Perform ad-hoc analyses and participate in special finance projects as needed
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required
- Advanced degree (MS/MA) or CPA preferred but not required
