- Radiometric and remote-sensing performance modeling

- Experience with EO/IR and remote sensing domains; LiDAR or radar experience a plus
- Ability to validate models with lab and field data and iterate designs
Responsibilities
- Define system architectures through detailed trade studies and requirements derivation
- Develop and validate physics-based sensor performance models and radiometric analyses
- Lead development and rapid prototyping of prototype sensor systems in lab environments
- Plan and execute laboratory, ground, and flight tests; validate models against measured data
- Engage cross-functionally with hardware, software, and mission teams to integrate and deliver systems
- Model atmospheric and environmental effects for land, sea, and air targets
- Communicate technical findings and interface with internal and external stakeholders
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Optics, or related STEM field required
- Master’s or PhD in a relevant field preferred
- Ability to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance
