- Expertise in C++ and Python development on Linux

- Experience working with high bit-depth and infrared sensor data (preferred)
- Familiarity with software revision control and CI/CD practices
- Strong analytical, communication, and cross-disciplinary collaboration skills
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain U.S. Top Secret security clearance
Responsibilities
- Design and implement image processing techniques for signal improvement, detection, and tracking on high bit-depth, large-format airborne infrared sensors
- Maintain deep understanding of airborne sensor hardware and create physics-based digital twins to model sensor behavior
- Define engineering completion criteria, evaluation metrics, and build unit/integration test tools
- Collaborate with mission operations, hardware, and software teams to evaluate system performance and close performance gaps
- Deploy and maintain production-quality software in C++ and Python on Linux systems
Education
- BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline (required)
- MS or PhD in related field (preferred)
