Senior Supplier Development Engineer, Mechanical Casting

- Ability to travel frequently and work onsite
Responsibilities
- Manage mechanical casting categories to execute supplier production strategies from NPI to full production across business lines
- Collaborate with supply chain and engineering teams to vet suppliers and ensure quality and capacity requirements
- Lead new production tooling and line development at supplier sites to meet product performance and quality standards
- Drive process performance and controls (SPC) reviews at suppliers
- Identify and implement product and process improvements to reduce cost, mitigate risks, and improve cycle times
- Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventative actions in collaboration with Supplier Quality Engineers and supply chain
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field
