Responsibilities
- Develop and execute category strategies for mechanical casting focused on cost reduction, quality, and supply chain resilience
- Lead RFI/RFQ/RFP and strategic sourcing processes for mechanical casting
- Manage business relationships with Contract Manufacturers ensuring supply continuity, risk management, and cost negotiations
- Collaborate with Engineering to influence technical designs and manufacturing requirements
- Perform detailed cost analysis and make data-driven decisions based on total cost of ownership
- Negotiate agreements covering pricing, quality, delivery, payment, warranty and service terms
- Provide technical direction on commodity strategy throughout the product lifecycle
- Manage supplier performance and act as primary escalation for mechanical casting commodity
- Conduct regular technology reviews with executive management
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field
